Comment Policy

We encourage anyone who is interested in the articles posted on the blog to comment, however we must enforce a few key rules to ensure that the EMDRIA blog remains a supportive, positive environment.  In order to ensure that individuals follow this policy, and to weed out SPAM, EMDRIA will approve all comments before they are visible on the blog.

What can my comments say?

Your comments can express your opinions, thoughts, ideas and raise further questions – basically, you can say anything relevant that adds to the discussion in a positive manner.  Comments will be thrown out if they violate one of the rules below.  EMDRIA reserves the right to delete comments it feels violates its guidelines.

Please note:  If you have a question for EMDRIA, please do not post it to the blog as a comment, please contact us directly.

What will cause my comment to be thrown out?

  • Profane or offensive word choices or statements.
  • Personal or professional attacks on another individual, group or organization. You are welcome to disagree with other individuals, groups or organizations opinions, comments, posts or actions, but please do so in a respectful manner.
  • SPAM, suspected SPAM, or advertisements.
  • Comments containing plagiarism or copyright violations – please make sure to cite your sources.
